Become a Protein Warrior!

My diet consists primarily of whole foods…foods as close to their natural state as possible.  So my protein comes from high-quality meat, fish, and poultry; nuts and seeds; nut butters; cheese and yogurt; and plant-based sources (like quinoa).  I don’t often drink my food, but when I do….I have a protein smoothie using my favorite protein powder.  My good friend Phyllis turned me on to Warrior Blend raw protein powder from the Sun Warrior company.  Here’s what I LOVE about this product….

When I’m running short on time, or just want to change up my breakfast routine, I mix up a tall protein smoothie with Warrior Blend.  I usually mix 1 cup of almond milk, 1 cup of berries, 1 cup of greens (spinach, kale, Swiss chard), 3 tablespoons of hemp seeds, 1 scoop of Warrior Blend, and a splash of real maple syrup.  Bottoms up!
